She was the most amazing mother to Regina Victoria (Miled) Bowman-Daou, Lucrecia Marina (Christopher) Bowman-Jones and Cleo Margaret Speckert. She was a graduate of the Universidad de Buenos Aires in art. She came to the US in 1969 and became a US citizen in 1974. She embraced our country never forgetting her own. She lived in Cincinnati fully involved in politics and our church. In 2013, she relocated to El Paso, Texas to be taken care of by Regina and Miled. There, she was loved as one of their own. She joined the Desert Hills Garden Club and the Women's Club of El Paso. She passed away in El Paso surrounded by love and in peace. She was admired and a friend to so many for her wit, compassion, loyalty and yes, sense of style. Loyalty meant everything. She loved a good book, going to the opera, and took care in dressing for the occasion. She loved talking politics and history. Visitation will be held at Schmidt-Dhonau-Kucner, 8633 Reading Rd, Reading OH, 45215, on Wed, Sept 13th, 2017 from 4pm-8:00pm with Rosary at 7:30pm. A Requiem High Mass will be held at Immaculate Conception Church, Floral Ave. at Smith Rd., Norwood, OH 45212 on Thursday, Sept. 14th, 2017 at 10:50am. She asked that masses be said for her soul. She also suggested adopting a cat or dog.
